Our Programs
Country Lane Senior Community
Much like housing for the impoverished and homeless, seniors face similar challenges in locating affordable housing in their golden years. In addition, ADA accessible apartments are in short supply in the community. CFP helped to change that need and worked with the owners of this community to create both affordable and accessible units for the aging and disabled seniors who are the history of our communities. The community has wonderful amenities to help seniors age-in-place, including a beauty salon, coffee shop, and fitness center.
Village At Meadow Bend
In an effort to bring affordable housing options to the Temple Community, CFP advocated with the builder to develop mixed-use housing options that gave the opportunity of safe and affordable housing to low-income residents. This now provides a 138-unit complex that also offers a free after school program for K-5.
Crossley Veteran's Village
A community first around the nation, the Crossley Veterans Village combined several nonprofits, businesses, and the community to create an all-veteran focused housing community that helped homeless and at-risk veteran families achieve housing ownership. Named after our founder, the Lee A. Crossley Veterans Community is a means to offer home ownership to homeless and at-risk veteran families.
